Timezone :: EST

It is still summer folks, at least until the 22nd, and while some are lamenting the end of the sweet season of sun, many others still are looking forward with glee to getting the kids out of the house for another school year!  Regardless of which camp you are in, Mpix and Morepix have a special remedy for you, sure to put a sunny smile on the impending autumn season!

TERMINATOR MARATHON!  September 3

Get your .45 Colt Longslide with laser sight and your electric-powered-Gatling ready!  It’s Arnold time!  Pithy one-liners delivered in that oft-imitated, never-duplicated Austrian accent!  “I’ll be back!”  “Hasta la vista, baby”, “You…are…terminated!”  Only one guy can get away with those lines, and that is seven-time Mr. Olympia, box-office action legend and Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger!  This is the coolest event ever, and you need to be watching it!  “There is no fate but what we make!”

4:45pm – The Terminator
6:40pm – Terminator 2: Judgement Day
9pm – Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines (premier)

Eddie Murphy Weekend!  September 10 & 11

          Not to put to put too fine a point on it: Eddie Murphy is a legend.  Yes, he’s Academy Award nominated for his turn in Dreamgirls, but he won our hearts years ago as a SNL prodigy, a Raw and Delirious stand up comic who pulled no punches, and the proud owner of the most infectious laugh since, well, ever.  He was the first actor to receive a cool million for his first film performance (48 Hrs).  What about all those Razzies he was nominated for after Norbit?  No biggie, that movie made nearly $100, 000, 000.  What did your last movie make?
