HOLLYWOOD NORTH (2003)
Directed by Peter O'Brian
A producer buys the film rights of a famous Canadian novel known as "Latern Moon" and plans to bring the novel to life on the big screen. But like most things in the movie industry everything doesn't go according to plan and when Hollywood gets involved the documentary filmmaker catches the whole fiasco on film, right down to the inevitable and hilarious demise of it all.
The screenplay was originally written in the mid '80s.
